RE-BRAND

This rebrand for Sparrow Coffee Co. was designed around the idea that coffee is more than just a product, it’s part of people’s daily momentum. The brand positioning focuses on optimism, routine, creativity, and forward movement, turning the coffee experience into something emotionally energising rather than purely transactional.
The visual identity combines bold typography, high-contrast colours, and playful abstract patterns to create a system that feels modern, memorable, and highly scalable across physical and digital touchpoints. The sparrow icon acts as a simple but recognisable brand symbol, representing movement, energy, and lightness, while also giving the brand a strong visual shorthand that works across packaging, signage, merchandise, and app design.
The yellow, black, and white palette was intentionally chosen to create strong shelf presence and instant recognisability in busy retail and café environments. The geometric patterns add personality and rhythm to the brand system, helping the experience feel youthful, optimistic, and creatively driven without becoming overly polished or corporate.
Messaging throughout the campaign focuses on positivity and progress, using lines like “Coffee That Keeps You Moving Forward” and “Better Coffee. Better People. Good Days.” to position the brand around everyday motivation and community rather than exclusivity or coffee snobbery.
The project was developed as a full brand ecosystem, including café interiors, mobile ordering UX/UI, takeaway packaging, vehicle graphics, social media systems, environmental design, and branded merchandise. The result is a cohesive identity that feels energetic, contemporary, and designed for modern urban audiences who see coffee as part of both their lifestyle and daily ritual.
