RIBS &
BURGERS

This rebrand concept for Ribs & Burgers was built around one core idea, flame-cooked food should feel bold, messy, unapologetic, and full of personality. The existing category is heavily saturated with dark, masculine barbecue branding, so the objective was to modernise the brand while still preserving the raw energy and indulgence associated with flame-grilled food.

The visual identity uses oversized typography, playful iconography, and a simplified colour palette to create a system that feels instantly recognisable across packaging, interiors, social media, and advertising. The custom flame character introduces a more human and memorable brand asset, helping the brand feel approachable, energetic, and slightly rebellious rather than overly corporate.

The photography and food styling intentionally lean into excess and satisfaction. Layers of dripping sauce, stacked ingredients, smoke references, and oversized burgers were designed to visually communicate indulgence before a customer even reads the copy.

 

Supporting lines like “Built on Flame” and “Real Smoke. Real Flavor. Real Satisfaction.” reinforce the handcrafted and flame-cooked positioning while keeping the tone confident and simple.

The rebrand was designed as a complete experience system rather than just a logo refresh. Every touchpoint, from takeaway packaging and uniforms to environmental graphics and social campaigns, was created to feel cohesive, scalable, and highly shareable online. The result is a modern fast-casual identity that feels bold enough to stand out in a crowded food market while still remaining playful, memorable, and commercially functional.
